Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the internet and related services ("Service") that Boot State Technologies LLC, doing business as BST WiFi ("BST," "we," "us"), provides to you ("Customer," "you"). By ordering, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

BST provides fixed wireless internet access. Bandwidth is a shared service. Any quoted speed is a maximum ("up to") rate and is not guaranteed; actual speeds depend on your location, line of sight to the tower, network conditions, your equipment, and the shared nature of the network. BST reserves the right to manage its networks to provide for reasonable performance for all customers. Plan availability and speeds are subject to signal and service location.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to order the Service. You are responsible for all use of the Service at your premises.

3. Equipment (CPE)

The customer premises equipment ("CPE") — including any radio, dish, and BST managed Wi‑Fi router — is provided by BST for your use of the Service. Unless otherwise stated, the CPE remains the property of Boot State Technologies LLC, and a fee may be charged each month the account is active for its use.

  • BST will repair or replace CPE that fails in normal use at no charge.
  • If the CPE is lost, stolen, or damaged through improper use or handling, you are responsible for replacement costs, including equipment and labor.
  • Access to the CPE configuration interfaces (web or command‑line) is prohibited except by a BST technician or employee. If the CPE is reconfigured by anyone else, a BST technician may need to re‑provision it at your expense.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Violation of that policy may result in suspension or immediate termination of the Service.

5. Residential vs. business use

Residential accounts are for personal, non‑commercial internet use on devices at the premises where the Service is installed. Residential accounts may not be used to run servers or services that provide content to anyone outside the premises, to mask servers using encryption, or for any business purpose. If you need to host services or use the connection commercially, a BST business plan is required.

You may not resell, sublease, or otherwise make the Service available to anyone outside your premises, by wired or wireless means, without BST's written consent.

6. Billing and charges

Service is billed monthly. One‑time installation, hardware, and setup charges may apply, and add‑ons may require additional equipment and charges. You may be subject to additional charges at BST's discretion, including returned‑payment fees, non‑payment reconnection fees, and early‑disconnect fees. Non‑payment may result in suspension or termination of the Service.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. BST DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR‑FREE AND MAKES NO WARRANTY AS TO THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BST DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

You are responsible for backing up your own data and software. BST, its employees, affiliates, and contractors are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment, or for any loss of software or data stored on equipment to which BST equipment is connected.

8. Limitation of liability

BST is not liable for any damages arising from any event outside its reasonable control. BST is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, or consequential damages, including lost profits or loss of data, however caused and whether based in contract, tort, or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall BST's total liability exceed a refund of the amounts you actually paid for the then‑current month of Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless BST and its successors and assigns from any and all copyright, trademark, patent, or other legal liability arising out of your use of the Service. You are solely responsible for limiting access to objectionable material on the internet; BST takes no responsibility for the viewing of such material by minors or others.

10. Governing law

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any claim or cause of action you have relating to the Service must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is barred.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
